• Entry Fee: $15 per artwork
  (maximum 3 entries per section)

Sections & Prizes

Section 1 – The Bobbie Paradice Prize
1st Prize: $5,000
Any medium (original artworks only)

Prue Robertson Prize in memory of Libby Robertson – Local Prize
Prize: $2,000
For Upper Hunter or Muswellbrook residents (any section)

Section Prizes – $500 each

• Section 2: Watercolour

• Section 3: Pastel

• Section 4: Print or Drawing

• Section 5: Miniature

• Section 6: Ceramics/Sculpture (no greenware)

Artwork Requirements

Sections 1–4:

• Maximum size: 1.5m x 1m x 10cm (including frame)

• Maximum weight: 15kg

Section 5 – Miniature:

• Image: max 10cm x 10cm

• Frame: max 30cm x 30cm

• Subject must be miniaturised

Section 6 – Ceramics/Sculpture:

• Base: max 60cm x 60cm

• Height: max 185cm

• Weight: max 15kg

Hanging & Presentation

• D-ring hooks and strong string required

• No wet or sticky paint

• Diptychs/triptychs must be joined or include clear hanging instructions

• Non-compliant works will NOT be displayed

Conditions of Entry

• Open to artists aged 18+

• Original, unaided work only

• Work must not have been exhibited in a previous Scone Art Prize

• All entries must be for sale

• 25% commission on sold works

• Maximum 3 entries per section

Media & Liability

• The committee reserves the right to photograph entries for promotional use

• Entries displayed at owner’s risk – no liability for damage, theft or loss

• Insurance is the artist’s responsibility

Final Reminders

• No late entries accepted

• Return freight must be prepaid

• Uncollected works will not be stored

• Entrants are responsible for ensuring works do not breach copyright laws
