Pottery Workshop for Beginners

Discover the joy of working with clay in this two‑day introductory workshop led by experienced ceramic artist Joanne van Hees. Across two relaxed sessions, you’ll learn the foundational hand‑building techniques of pinch, coil, and slab work, creating your own pieces to glaze and take home. This workshop is designed for adults who are keen to explore pottery in a supportive and creative environment.

Joanne began her ceramics journey at St George Tech Sydney in the 1970s and continued her studies at Muswellbrook TAFE throughout the 1980s. With over 50 years of experience attending and teaching workshops across NSW, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for sharing the joy of clay with others.
